What is your role with North Texas Giving Day? Communications Kahuna. I lead the amazing team who puts the marketing together for the world’s largest community-wide giving day!
How long have you been at CFT/with NTGD? Since 2011, I came to CFT from Frito Lay and PepsiCo so it’s been great to apply brand marketing principals to help make North Texas Giving Day into a community-wide movement.
What makes you excited about #NTxGivingDay? Being part of something bigger is what really energizes me about North Texas Giving Day. It’s a win-win for our community. I love seeing what nonprofits are able to do with the money raised and hearing how passionate donors are about their causes.
Your quintessential #NTxGivingDay moment: 4 am on DayBreak dancing with the nonprofits. Midnight when we’re doing our high fives and celebrating with a toast to the generosity of our incredible region. I also love watching the nonprofit performances at NorthPark.
What is one area of your job that you’re passionate about? I love working with the amazing team at CFT—super smart, creative, fun people who are motivated by giving back.
What do you do when not at work? Outside of work, you might find me out on a walk with my husband Mark or riding bikes with our three children, Cate (14), Thomas (12) and Michael (9). On weekends we’re often on the sidelines of lacrosse tournaments!
